(R.B.) I have a number of desktops that I will need to order for the fall, and I haven't ever bought an HP desktop (IBM and Dell).

I assume the ones that are available from TTF are like the laptops from TTF and have a bit of surpluous business type junk on them (credential manager, etc). That is one weakness of IBM, too many 'think' branded utilities that since I dont have the time to evaluate, I just take off. I much prefer the VOSTRO branded Dells, but they come with 1yr (which is fine) and off-shore and no chat support.

 

(E.H.) Yup, every name-brand I have seen has the manufacturer's tools on it, most of which is non-essential for us. I tend to clean it off and create our own build with every new model.
